Thanks to everyone who made it out to McCreesh Playground this past Saturday, August 14th to join us for our kickoff fundraiser and block party to support the construction of McCreesh Skatepark.

Hundreds of people came out to support the project and shred the new wooden obstacles that will now be housed at McCreesh for the kids to skate while they await their permanent park.  The skating, music, food, raffles and energy were all very positive and over $1,000 was raised for the project at this event!

There is now a 45' long half pyramid with step-ups and hubbas down each side, in addition to two new ledges. The existing steel quarter pipes were also tack welded and fixed up a bit. Congratulations to everyone involved for getting this project done smoothly and to Jesse and his crew for doing such quality work in such tough conditions. Now go skate it!
